Tom Leahy Wows the Crowd at Art Exhibition

The Gilbert Centre art group launched its exhibition on 1st March at the Spiralli Art Gallery in Market Square, Mallow. The exhibition will run until the end of May. The works of art are for sale.

More clues as to the identity of the 5 Mallow Secret Santas are being revealed online on Facebook this week. While the competition is generating a lot of interest and good spirits in and around Mallow, some of the identities are proving a little difficult to uncover.

MALLOW SECRET SANTA REVEALS A HAPPIER CHRISTMAS

5 Mallow personalities are doing their bit for charity this Christmas by disguising themselves as Secret Santas and inviting the general public to identify them correctly. The Society of St Vincent de Paul in Mallow is facing a tough Christmas with extra demand on their services. Last Christmas, the society helped 180 families and in 2011, they expect that number to increase to 250.

Gallery Open Evening and Networking Event

30th September at 7.30pm – to around 9.30pm

The new installation of artworks include silk painting, acrylics, 3D, photography, graphic art and more. Come along to enjoy the artwork, the wine and the chat.

The challenges and opportunities for businesses which can be provided through innovation in the workplace was the subject of a well attended talk by Minister for Innovation Sean Sherlock in Mallow last Friday (May 6th).
